Thank you for visiting my website. On this website you can find a small impression of my work. I am currently studying Art History at the University of Amsterdam, but when it's possible I paint, draw and take photographs. My paintings are very personal; they symbolise my state of mind during different periods in my life.

February '12 - Hosni & Khomeini »
Hosni and Khomeini are made for my love. He studies politics and is specifically interested
in the Middle East. For his birthday I started working on Hosni Mubarak last year when
the Egyptian revolution in 2011 started. It still isn't finished and in the mean while I've started working on a portrait of Khomeini as well.
February '12 - Sevillanas »
In my painting Sevillanas I try to express the positive emotion I experience when I'm in Andalucia, Spain. This region is my second home. I've learned that people there enjoy their family, the delicious food, the sea and weather without complaining about their economical situation. Although they have a difficult work environment, they enjoy life.
